Arrival at Athinios Port, where we board a traditional boat. Our first stop is the volcanic island of Nea Kammeni, where we will hike up a dirt path to the crater of the volcano, which is still active. We continue to the island of Palea Kammeni, where we can swim in the green sulphurous waters or bathe in the warm therapeutic mud. After half an hour, the boat will sail to the charming, traditional island of Thirassia, where you can have lunch at one of the picturesque seafront tavernas or swim at the beach next to the port. The boat tour ends at the village of Oia where we will admire the spectacular colourful sunset. 

Notes: 
There is a fee of € 2 that you are required to pay to a civil servant at the foot of the volcano. A bus will be available to collect clients in Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani at 09:30, 09:40, and 09:45, respectively.

Description:
We will board a traditional boat to head for the volcanic island of Nea Kammeni, where we will have the opportunity to walk up the active volcano and take photos of the crater. Then we will cruise towards the second volcanic island of Palea Kameni, in order to swim in the hot springs and to enjoy the therapeutic mud. Finally we will return to Athinios Port, where the buses will be waiting to take us to our respective points of departure.

Description: 
We begin our tour with a visit to the Prophet Elias Monastery, which was built in 1711 AD at the highest point of the island, providing a breathtaking view. The picturesque village of Pyrgos is situated close by, enabling you to take some magnificent photos. By bus we head for Athinios Port to board a traditional boat, which will take us to the active volcano. After visiting the crater, we will continue sailing towards the Hot Springs, where we can swim in the green sulphurous waters. After half an hour, the boat will sail to Thirassia Island. There you can swim at the beach or visit the traditional village of Manolas, by travelling up the winding steps on foot or on a donkey. Back on board again, we sail to Oia, our last destination, which is built along the rim of the caldera wall. You can walk in the village, enjoy the magnificent panoramic view and admire the spectacular, colourful sunset.

Description:
The excursion starts from Kamari, taking about 10 minutes by the bus and then 10-20 minutes by foot to arrive at the site. Ancient Thira is situated at a unique location on the top of Messa Vouno Mountain, at an altitude of 356 meters. This strategic point was chosen by the Dorian settlers to built their capital town in 8th century BC. The excavations uncover the ruins of ancient buildings, sanctuaries and temples, inscriptions and carved stones of Archaic Period and also the ancient theatre situated in an excellent location with panoramic view to Aegean Sea. The bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Kamari.

Description:
Arriving at Athinios Port, you will be welcomed on board by the captain and the crew and enjoy a welcome drink while watching the changing colours of the sunset. The captain will set sail for a cruise along the magnificent Caldera while the crew prepares a delicious buffet dinner that you will savor during the cruise.
